Percy Jackson and the Olympians=Fail

*Since I have a younger brother who loves to use my computer to do random nonsense (watching people PLAY videogames on youtube) I didn't get to finish this post yesterday but oh well*
So anyway...

I really liked the book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I may not remember it in its entirety which is probably why I wasn't as disappointed as I should have been with the movie. Thanks to the keen eyes of my friends Natasha and Christian I was able to see every single flaw the movie had. I will admit...we were a bit...no...we were REALLY LOUD! But it was still fun making commentary for the whole film. I'm pretty sure I heard some people laugh at our comments so even though the movie was a complete fail, the experience can be called a win.

I realized something important today. GIRLS CAN PLAY VIDEOGAMES. No, I'm just kidding. I'm sure there couldn't be anyone THAT ignorant who could think something like that. I had so much fun playing video games yesterday and I really hope I can do that again someday. Mostly we played fighting games but for some reason no one wanted to play Naruto. But overall it was good. Wrestling was what really got us laughing. Why are the poses so sexual looking? And why do some of the moves have to be so dramatic and slow-mo? Wrestling= a soap opera for men. Oh, and I'll admit it. I lost every single time because I fail at 75% of all videogames.

I guess to add on for today I'll say that I'm feeling kind of irritated because our vacation is almost over. Why do we have to go back to school? Stop. Don't answer. It's rhetorical. I just wish we had another week though...Spring Break is centuries from now.

Well, I'm at a workshop learning website design and I'm learning a lot so I guess I'll be back later to post?

A Brighter Day

Wow it looks really good outside! Maybe today's gonna be a lot of fun at the movies. I'm kinda of bored right now so I'm just listening to music and surfing the web. lol What does that even mean? Can you surf a web? Aren't those supposed to be sticky. Oh well, I guess it makes some kind of sense, otherwise why would people use it? Actually....I take that back. Practically 90% of all expressions people say nowadays make absolutely no sense. (Type bored-->wtf, "deadass," batsh*t crazy) I can't think of anymore but I think you get the idea. If anyone is even reading this maybe you could post in the comments some of the dumbest expressions you hear everyday and possibly even use.

I found this song on the radio yesterday called, "Meet me Halfway," by the Black Eyed Peas. I was hooked the second I heard it so now I downloaded it and I'm listening to it now. I mean...I do have a grudge against the Black Eyed Peas for their song, "I Gotta Feeling," which inconveniently played when a bottle of glass Coke hit the pavement, exploded, and my finger was almost sliced off by raining shards. Yeah...that wasn't what I consider a "good night" guys. Stitches? WTF?

And on a closing note. Here's what made me think of the blog post title:
A Brighter Day (DDR X2)
Yeah...I'm a DDR freak. I haven't played in a while but when I do I get A's. So here's a question: why am I still overweight!?!?!?

Ok, so I guess I'll post later about the movie and whatnot. Keep out of trouble for now...or I'll find you!

A Fresh Start?

Hey there! (omg this took so long to write. Holy Jebus, how do people do this daily???)
I swear I might have ADD or ADHD or whatever the acronym is! I tried writing a blog for one day and then I completely forgot about it for months and now here I am again!

Well let's see...today's dinner was steak and salad. I have no idea who thought of this but it tastes good! Is this even healthy? Oh well, who cares. Dessert ...Party Cake flavored ice cream which is basically vanilla with icing, cake pieces and some other fattening crap. Makes you feel kinda guilty after xD

I guess the first thing I want to talk about is me actually leaving the house today to go bowling. At first me and my mom were like >_> because we really didn't want to go. But...we already promised my brother so we went. It was actually not that bad. The place, Gil Hodges Lanes (if anyone's interested) wasn't crowded so we got a lane pretty quickly. At the counter I couldn't stop laughing because my mom was yelling at my brother for not wearing socks considering that he had to wear the bowling shoes. (He's 9 so it's not that bad I guess). SO basically the game is fun and all but then I realize something: I'm actually not that bad. (It's the kiddie lane though so...lol well whatever. I'm still semi-proud). But here's the problem. The whole reason my brotehr wanted to even go bowling was because a few weeks ago he went bowling on a trip and he won a medal for being the best one there. By the first game when I won by 10 points or so I realized that maybe I should let him win. So then for the second game I tried to bowl badly but that's kind of hard to do considering that the gutters are completely sealed off. So my efforts were in vain and I ended up winning by 17 points the second time. The expression on his face was so sad and dejected that I completely felt horrible. And then what makes it worse is that he takes off his medal and puts it around my neck. So we all walk outside and I decide to be a big brother for a change and I give him back the medal and say, "This is the medal you won for winning a different time. Just because I won now doesn't change anything."....You get the idea.

I just feel that he's sort of living in my shadow right now and the only time he was supposed to shine I stomped the light out of him. Anyone ever feel like that towards their younger siblings?

He was still kind of sad but that all changed once we drove up to.....MCDONALD'S!!!! So this is where something really funny happened, Well it was funny to me at least and I have a weird sense of humor so idk if you would think this is funny too.

It basically went like this:
Girl: "Can I take your order?"
Mom: "Can I get a happy meal? Cheeseburger?"
Girl: "What kind of drink?"
Mom: "Sprite" (As usual. We NEVER get anything else. Sprite might as well be the only thing on the menu. Even when we go to places partnered with Pepsi she says Sprite. Thank God the cashiers just give her Sierra Mist and don't make a big deal out of it.)
So anyway...
Girl: "Would you like two apple pies for a dollar?"
This is the part that got me.
Mom: *stares at me for a moment and I nod* "Yes."
Girl: "That'll be $5.11."
OMG! This girl is a marketing genius and it was just hilarious how easily we said yes!! If she says this to every person she must be really hundreds of extra bucks for McDonald's daily. My mom noted that to her a few minutes later and asked for her name because she said she was gonna call McDonalds and tell them she needed a raise. Her name is Crystal btw.

I guess the last thing I want to mention was my dream where I was in school and I found out that MMB (English-teacher-->Her name's Ms. Manuto-Brown but that's a handful to say so when referring to her she's known as MMB) wasn't my teacher anymore. Basically the school said that we changed English teachers every term and I was soo happy because that meant no more The Great Gatsby. But oh well...since good things only happen to me in dreams, I'm still stuck with the book and the homework due Monday. Oh well I'll do it. I won't procrastinate...I promise...

On a closing thought I wanna say thanks for reading...or skimming xD. I hope I didn't bore you so much that you decided to pick up a copy of Twilight or something lol jk or am I? Oh and sorry for any typos!
Anyway, be safe, eat candy (screw fruit), and check to see what I write next time. If there'll even be one....(This is a communitychannel reference btw. If you don't know that is then: 1) *boom* I just shot you and 2) get on youtube and search for her channel. She's awesome!!)
